Brad J. Ward
Electronic Communication Coord, Butler University
Brad J. Ward has been working in the Higher Education setting for 5 years, starting as a student assistant in the Marketing Department at the University of Illinois at Springfield. As a student in 2003, he created a personal website with photos, forums, and videos for both current and prospective students, which was later used as a primary recruitment tool by the University. The site averaged nearly 29,000 page views per month over its 2 year span. After graduation, he served as the Marketing and Recruitment Specialist at UIS for 1 ½ years. He has now been at Butler University since June 2007, serving as the Electronic Communication Coordinator in the Office of Admission. His work is heavily focused in social media / social networking, email, and data analysis. He oversees the Butler Bloggers and BUForums and is the co-creator of http://www.bloghighed.org/, a site that aggregates many popular higher education blogs. Cam Cruickshank, Ph.D.
Vice President for Enrollment Management, Tiffin University
Cam Cruickshank is the Managing Director of Ivy Bridge College and Vice President for Enrollment Management at Tiffin University. His primary responsibilities are to supervise recruitment and retention initiatives, and to conduct enrollment planning. He oversees the enrollment of traditional-aged undergraduates online through Ivy Bridge College, as well as those wishing to study at the Tiffin, Ohio campus. Dr. Cruickshank also directs the recruitment and student services for adult learners in graduate, degree completion, and associate degree programs online and at Tiffin's academic centers throughout the State of Ohio. The web master, financial aid, admissions operations, and registration and records departments are also within his purview.

During his tenure as the Chief Enrollment Officer, Tiffin University has enjoyed a headcount enrollment increase of over 56% and an increase in net tuition revenue of over 55%. Previously, Cam has held positions in student affairs, admissions, financial aid, institutional research, and intercollegiate athletics.

In addition, Cam serves as an Associate Consultant for Teresa Farnum and Associates (TFA), an enrollment management consulting firm based in Denver Colorado. While at TFA, Cam has been instrumental in developing new products and services, has delivered several workshops on adult student recruitment, and has served institutions in the Western part of the United States and Canada.

 
Chris Brogan
VP Strategy & Technology at CrossTech Media
Chris Brogan uses social media and technology to build digital relationships for businesses, organizations, and individuals. He has merged his experience in technology (enterprise IT and wireless telephony) with his passion for social media, such that he’s showing organizations how to use these tools inside the firewall, as well as to build authentic conversations between coworkers, customers, and even competitors.

CJ Cuniff
Interactive Media Manager, Stamats, Inc.

CJ has more than ten years of experience as a programmer in the interactive media field. His specialties include Internet systems, JavaScript/XML programming, JQUERY, MOOTOOLS, AJAX and Flash Development. His experience working in other markets including medical, small business and government sites, and customer relationship management Intranet sites help inform the work he completes with higher education clients. He has extensive experience in all facets of interactive marketing and technology and brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to his position at Stamats.

 
Demetrio Cuzzocrea
SVP, Customer Operations, Whoop, Inc.
A co-founder of Whoop, Demetrio possesses rare equilibrium in left and right-brained thinking and more than a decade of experience in the interactive and entertainment industries. In-between winning awards for his own filmmaking, he served as Director of Interactive Client Services and Sales for a tier-1 managed hosting company while also coordinating the group’s production pipeline. Projects include Warner Brothers, DreamWorks Music, Reuters America, Buffalo Wild Wings, National Lampoon, and the Digital Terrorism & Hate interactive CD-ROM report released by the Simon-Wiesenthal Center, a UN sponsored NGO, which annually garners international media attention. Demetrio is a University of Virginia graduate and received a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of San Diego on scholarship. Demetrio and his wife, Beth, live in Los Angeles, California, with their identical twin 1-year old boys.
 
Fritz McDonald
Vice President of Creative Strategy, Stamats, Inc.

Fritz McDonald has more than 20 years experience as a professional writer, editor, and creative director. He earned his bachelor's degree at UCLA, and an M.F.A. from the University of Iowa Writer's Workshop. At Stamats, Fritz has created marketing communications and branding programs for colleges and universities across the U.S. He has written articles on higher education marketing for Admissions Marketing Report, and his creative work has garnished numerous awards, including a CASE Gold Regional, more than 40 ADDYs, and Admissions Marketing Report Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. His Stamats clients have included Furman University, St. Olaf College, Villanova University, Harvard Medical School, and many others.

 
James Maraviglia
Asst VP for Admissions, Recruitment, and Financial Aid, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo
James Maraviglia has been actively involved in admissions and recruitment for the past 33 years. He was appointed Assistant Vice President for Admissions, Recruitment and Financial Aid at Cal Poly in 2002 after serving as the Executive Director of Admissions and Recruitment from 1993. He joined Cal Poly as the Director of Admissions in 1991.

Prior to his tenure at Cal Poly, Maraviglia was the Director of Admissions and High School College Relations at Central Washington University from 1984 until 1991. He has also worked in admissions at Triton Community College and Chicago State University and started his career in admissions as a student intern at Elmhurst College.

He has been responsible for re-engineering the workplace of two very different institutions. He has won a series of awards from a number of professional associations for initiatives that his unit has brought to the profession.

In 1999, Jim was named an AACRAO APEX award finalist, and he was also nominated for a California State University WANG award for professional excellence. In 2005, Campus Technology presented him with the 2005 Innovator Award, and the California State University presented him with the 2006 Quality Improvement Award. He helped launch the first electronic application, electronic view book, and CD-ROM prospectus, and was one of the earliest innovators of electronic customer relations support systems.

James Maraviglia has written numerous papers on enrollment planning, admissions, recruitment, and re-engineering the workplace through technology. He now serves as a professional consultant to a number of institutions interested in implementing similar solutions for their enrollment initiatives.

 
Jennifer Corriero
Co-founder and Executive Director, TakingITGlobal
At age 19, Correiro was a senior consultant to Microsoft, and has since done consulting work with Hewlett-Packard, Nike, and McDonald's. She has been involved in conferences around the world as presenter, facilitator and panelist in India, Ghana, Egypt, Sweden, South Africa, Switzerland, Malaysia and Australia. Recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Global Leader of Tomorrow in 2002 and as a Young Global Leader in 2004, she recently completed her Master's at York University with an area of concentration on Youth Engagement and Capacity Building Across Cultures.
 
Karlyn Morissette
Web Producer, Dartmouth College
Karlyn Morissette has explored e-marketing in higher education from the point of view of both admissions and development. As a former admissions officer in charge of interactive recruiting, she was responsible for building a comprehensive e-marketing program from the ground up, which resulted in a doubling of online applications within one year of its implementation. In her current position at Dartmouth, she advises on and implements Web-based strategies for the purpose of fundraising. Karlyn holds a B.S. in Communication from Boston University and an MBA from Norwich University. Kathy Bennett
Web Rebuild Project Manager, Northern Kentucky University
Kathy Bennett is the Manager of IT Research and Development at Northern Kentucky University (NKU). In her current position at NKU she is leading the Web rebuild effort and is responsible for Web application development and support to the campus community. She has been at NKU for nearly three years and has 20 years of corporate IT experience before joining NKU. Kathy holds a B.S. in Information Technology from Xavier University and a MBA from Xavier as well.
 
Kati Davis
Interactive Media Strategist, Stamats, Inc.
Having joined Stamats in 2007, Kati has experience playing both the part of the interactive agency as well as the internal Web team. She has significant experience developing online solutions and interactive strategy for higher education. As a Google Adwords Certified Professional, Kati also has developed and managed several online sponsored advertising campaigns, as well as optimized sites to gain natural search engine rankings. Kati is a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication with minors in business and history.
 
Kyle James
Webmaster, Wofford College
Kyle is currently the Webmaster at Wofford College a position that he has held since September 2006. He spent three years in Wofford’s Information Technology Department and because of this has a rather technical background before moving strictly into Web and Internet Marketing. His Web experience stretches back over ten years and to the days of the early Web and designing sites using Netscape Composer and Notepad.

Kyle is an experienced blogger and shares his perspective about Web Analytics, Social Media and more general Internet Marketing for Higher Education over on his blog, http://doteduguru.com. Understanding why people do what they do and how to use that to make the experience better for everyone is a passion. He’s definitely a people watcher and Internet metrics allow you to pull hard data about user activity that was previously impossible to fully gather. Looking at the data is interesting, but attempting to make sense of it and pull out worthwhile trends and valuable insights is stimulating.

 
Matthew Herzberger
Web Designer, Texas A&M University
Matt has more than ten years of Web experience with seven years in higher education. He started in the corporate world as a production assistant for a higher ed Web design agency where he produced sites for various universities and colleges. He then moved into higher education as a designer and strategist for various higher ed institutions. Matt is a big fan of social media and uses it in his professional and personal life. Paul Zastrow
Brand Strategist and Client Consultant, Stamats, Inc.
Paul brings to his clients 15 years of marketing and public relations experience for higher education and non-profit institutions. With one eye toward strategic planning and the other toward fresh creative, he helps his clients effectively achieve their goals in brand marketing, recruitment, research, integrated marketing, and more. At Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, Paul earned degrees in advertising and music, along with the world’s only known degree in satire. (It was a trick the administration played on Paul at graduation, given for the underground humor newspaper he’d run for several years as a student.) He served as director of marketing and public relations for symphony orchestras in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Hartford, Connecticut.
 
Sasha Peterson

Sasha Peterson is the Managing Director of Hobsons EMT. Prior to joining the Hobsons team in 2004, Mr. Peterson was the VP of Sales and Operations at Academic Engine, leading the organization to an expanded client base of more than 150 institutions and establishing a highly successful client development model that has now been applied within the Hobsons EMT Division. Mr. Peterson’s team is responsible for implementation of all Hobsons EMT products and the development of all client relationships.
